Welcome to Huum, a People and Culture Consultancy specialising in the Creative Industry.
I’m Nouran. With years of HR experience in creative, progressive and values-driven companies, I launched Huum in 2022, a People and Culture Consultancy focussed on creative and values driven businesses. I keep it simple. No jargon or corporate speak. And no treating your “humans” like “resources”, because they’re not.
I work with companies that care about their people and culture, and want to nurture an environment where they are happy and do their best work. As well as being a nice thing to do, it makes commercial sense.
After all, happy people help make a happy company.
People & Culture is huge
But what does it mean in practice? I’ve broken it down into 4 parts:
People
HR support across every area of the employee journey. Recruitment, development, engagement, diversity & inclusion, challenging conversations, exit (and everything in between). Sometimes it can be tricky and I can support you in navigating through it all.
Culture
People are drawn to and stay in companies with amazing cultures. I temperature check how your employees really feel about your culture and work with you to make your employee experience the best it can be.
Leadership
Simply put, your leaders make your company. I work closely with your leadership team and line managers to help give them the tools, advice and development they need to manage their teams effectively.
Structure
All the basics (but essentials) that make your company work – your team structure, pay and benefits and people policies. I review your existing stuff and help you develop structures, policies and processes that keep your cogs turning.
